## January '09
## April '09
## July '09
## October '09
Exact dates coming
soon, when released.
Every coloured belt grading is on a Friday night and
starts at 6.30pm, but it is recommended that you aim

Grading
Requirements For Beginners:
-
You must have a
Dobok (training outfit)
-
You must have
applied for and paid for your yearly Licence
-
You must have
given your Instructor 4 passport sized Photos
(1 for your licence, 2 for your grading card and
1 spare)
-
You must have
passed a Pre-Grading
(A practice grading
held at Emersons Green within normal lessons)
-
You must have paid
for your Grading
Information For All Grades:
-
If you have been
warned that your licence will expire before the
grading then you must renew it before the
grading or you will not be entered
-
A photo and
signature must be present on your grading card,
your Instructor will ask you for these if he
doesn't have them, without them you will not be
entered
-
You must have paid
for your grading at least a week in advance or
you will not be entered
-
5th Kup (Green
Belt Blue Tag) and above must free spar at the
grading so will need to bring a full set of
sparring equipment including a gum shield
-
Talking at the
back of the grading hall must be kept to an
absolute minimum; it's distracting for those
grading and rude to the grading examiners
-
Remember to bow
when entering and leaving the grading hall, it's
a Dojang just like Emersons Green Village Hall,
so you mustn't treat it with any less respect
-
You must not eat
or drink with your belt on, this is especially
important during a grading as you would be
giving a bad impression of yourself, your Club
and your Instructor
-
Make sure you are
wearing a clean and thoroughly ironed Dobok at
the grading, bad presentation can cost you an A
grade
-
Make sure that if
you have long hair that it is tied back so as
not to get in your face
-
The linework at
your grading may differ slightly from the
linework listed on the website, but it won't be
anything you haven't done at the Club
-
You need to know
more than just the theory for your grade, they
may ask you questions on theory from previous
grades
Remember:
White Belts (10th Kup) to Green Belt Blue Tags (5th
Kup) are eligible to grade every 3
MONTHS
Blue Belts (4th Kup) to Red Belt Black Tags (1st
